Columbus Crew Charlotte Sport reviews
Crew SC v NYCFC
Crew games are different this year because the owner bought the team in order to move it and abandoned all the team's community efforts. Attendance is understandably down in reaction and there are plenty of empty seats. For some reason Ticketmaster is not selling many of them. However the team is doing well and retrieved a key player in Justin Meram making them much better offensively. With this lineup they are one of a number of legitimate contenders for MLS cup. This was their best game against a good team all year. Game with Philadelphia on September 29 will be key for getting a home playoff game and then anything can happen. As usual getting out of the parking lot takes forever. Hopefully the "Save the Crew" side wins out and Precourt sells the team to local owners who will invest in repairing the fan base.If not, they are certainly going out in style with a fun to watch team.
